Limited Warranty

Last updated: March 13, 2026

HIT Pickleball stands behind the quality of every paddle we produce. If a defect in materials or workmanship occurs under normal use, this warranty outlines what we'll do to make it right.

1. What's Covered

HIT Pickleball warrants that all paddles will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the duration of the warranty period. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only — it does not extend to damage resulting from use, storage conditions, or modifications.

2. Warranty Period

6-Month Warranty

All HIT Pickleball paddles are covered for 180 days from the original purchase date. Each paddle is eligible for one (1) warranty claim within that period. Coverage begins on the date of purchase.

3. Resolution

For approved claims, HIT Pickleball will repair or replace the defective paddle at our discretion. We will do our best to fulfill replacements with the same model, color, and size as originally purchased. If that configuration is unavailable, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative. Replacement paddles carry the remaining coverage of the original warranty period.

4. How to Submit a Claim

Step 1 — Email warranty@hitpickleball.com with the following:

  • Your full name and order number
  • A description of the issue and when it first appeared
  • Clear photos or video showing the defect

Step 2 — Our team will review your submission and respond within 3–5 business days with a decision and, if approved, instructions for returning the paddle.

Step 3 — Ship the paddle back to us. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. HIT Pickleball covers outbound shipping on all approved replacements.

All warranty claims are reviewed individually and approval is not guaranteed. If you have questions about whether your situation qualifies before filing a claim, feel free to contact us first.

5. Eligibility

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. To be eligible, you must provide:

  • Proof of purchase from an authorized retailer (order confirmation or receipt)
  • Purchase date within the active 180-day coverage window

Coverage applies only to paddles purchased through hitpickleball.com or an authorized HIT retail partner. Paddles acquired through secondary markets — such as eBay, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace — are not eligible.

6. What's Not Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing defects, not the natural aging of materials or damage resulting from use. The following are not covered:

  • Normal wear and tear — grip breakdown, surface texture changes, minor edge wear from regular play
  • Cosmetic damage — scuffs, paint wear, or fading that does not affect performance
  • Damage from misuse — throwing, slamming, or using the paddle for anything other than pickleball
  • Environmental damage — prolonged exposure to extreme heat, cold, or humidity
  • Unauthorized modifications — any structural changes beyond the permitted accessories listed below
  • Commercial or rental use

Permitted accessories (do not void warranty):

  • Lead tape, edge guard tape, edge guard weights
  • Overgrips (without removing the original factory grip)

Will void warranty:

  • Removal of the original factory grip or butt cap
  • Any handle modifications including PU inserts
  • Structural changes to the paddle face, edge, or core

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

This page describes the full extent of HIT Pickleball's warranty. No other warranties — expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose — are offered beyond what is stated here. No retailer, dealer, or representative is authorized to expand or modify this warranty on our behalf.

8. Limitation of Liability

HIT Pickleball's obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing the defective product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — including but not limited to missed events, travel costs, or loss of use — arising from a product defect.

9. Governing Law

This warranty is governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under this warranty will be resolved in accordance with applicable US law.

10. Policy Updates

HIT Pickleball reserves the right to update this warranty at any time. The version published at hitpickleball.com/pages/warranty is always current. The terms in effect at the time of purchase apply to your claim.
